We are so excited to announce our annual

Dog Christmas Mini Sessions!

Have you ever wanted Christmas photos of your pup but worried they may be too nervous or over-excited in a busy public environment?  We have the perfect solution for you! 

Our festive dog mini sessions will be held for 1 day only on Saturday December 7th in the secure and air-conditioned luxury of Ari & Me Doggy Daycare  in Golden Grove.

Each session will feature 3 set ups, each with a different look.

Our Christmas backgrounds will be set up in a fenced area, away from outside distractions, so that your dog can relax and be their happy, curious selves while we snap gorgeous images of your furry family!

Plus, as it is the season for giving - $25 from every session will be donated to Scruffer Lovers Inc who do an incredible job rescuing and rehoming so so many precious animals.

And, as a bonus for them and you…….bring along some pet food to donate at your session and receive 1 FREE digital image for every 3kg of food!

(Don’t worry, no sugar was consumed for the creation of these images)

What’s included?

Everything on this list with the option for images of just your dog/s in the photos or you and your human family can join in too

- all for $245

  • 20 minutes of shooting time filled with doggy smiles, poses & family cuddles on our Christmas decorated set in a securely contained and dog friendly location. Indoors with aircon, toilets, fences & treats. What more could we need?!

  • A secure online gallery for you to view your image proofs and choose the ones you’d like to keep.

  • Your favourite 5 digital images as high resolution jpg files.

    Plus- for every 3kg of unopened pet food you bring to your session to donate to Scruffer Lovers Inc. we will give you 1 more digital image for FREE!

  • Up to 3 dogs and 5 people can be included in your session but must all be from the same household. Additional pets/people are $20 each.

  • $25 from your session fee will go to Scruffer Lovers Inc

    Plus- for every 3kg of unopened pet food you bring to your session to donate to Scruffer Lovers Inc. we will give you 1 more digital image for FREE!

  • If you love more than 5 photos you can purchase extras for an additional $25 each or $195 for your full gallery.

    You’ll have the option to purchase additional images via your online gallery.

  • Only if you give the ok (we wouldn’t want to ruin any Christmas Surprises!)

  • A complimentary digital Christmas card that can have your favourite image/s added to personalise it just for you! (see below for the styles available)

About us

We are 3 dog crazy gals who would be quite happy to just sit on the floor and play with puppies all day long! (FYI - ‘puppies’ apply to dogs of any age - we adore them all!)

I (Michelle - in the middle) have been professionally photographing babies, families, kids & animals for over 14 years. But events like this are only made possible with the help of my incredible friends Keryn & Brooke! They will probably be the first faces to welcome you when you arrive for your shoot as they work their magic to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible though-out the day. I honestly couldn’t do it without them!

 FAQs

  • To further help Scruffer Lovers Inc, we are asking people to bring pet food to donate to their organisation.

    Please only bring unopened food.

    To thank you - for each 3kg of food you bring to your session we will give you 1 additional digital image for free!

  • Don’t worry - we’ve got you! We have a number of tricks up our sleeve to get beautiful images of your dog even if they don’t stay still for more than 10 seconds.

    We know they will be excited (we will be too) but please remember there is never any judgement or expectations. All your dog needs to do is be a dog.

  • Your dogs experience is our priority. We love creating a calm and welcoming environment aimed at helping your dog to feel comfortable and safe. If your dog doesn’t want to be part of the session and we aren’t able to capture any images of them, we will refund your session fee.

  • We totally understand how dogs (just like people) can react negatively to certain situations (other dogs, certain people, big red & white fluffy suits). We have reactive dogs too so are used to having to keep all eyes and ears open to everything around us to avoid tricky confrontations.

    We have specifically chosen Ari & Me for our location as they have multiple seperate fenced off areas so that if needed we can keep your fur baby seperate from all of those scary things.

    If your dog is reactive in any way, just let us know before your session how we can make your pup feel right at home (we know that will help your stress levels too!).

  • Easy answer - YES! These images are primarily of your dog/s but we can still do a few images of your family & kids too.

  • Once booked in, we will send you a guide on what to expect on the day and our top tips on what to wear and how to prepare for your session.

  • Unfortunately this year we are only able to offer 1 date - December 7th. If you are unable to attend your session just let us know a minimum of 24 hours before your session and we will refund your session fee.

    Alternatively, you can put your payment towards a different session with us at a later date or pass your session on to a family member/friend.

  • Our emails often go to junk folders so make sure to check there incase the cyber mailman has left it there by mistake.

    A confirmation email will be sent upon booking, followed by another email within 48 hours with all of your preparation information and further details.

    If you haven’t received your confirmation email from us right after your booking hours please get in touch so we can check everything from our side.

  • As sessions are booked back to back, if you’re late you may miss out on your session or only have a few minutes of your time left.

    Please arrive early enough to quickly walk your dog so they can go to the toilet before your session and be ready for their moment to shine in front of the camera.

  • In the interest of our clients, staff & families - if you or someone in your family are sick - please stay home.

    If you let us know 24 hours or more before your session (to give us a chance to fill your spot) we can refund your deposit. If it is less than 24 hours then your deposit is not refundable.

    Unfortunately we can’t reschedule your session, but you can pass your booking onto a friend/family member.

  • Yes, other pets can come too - if it is safe!

    Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens - they are all invitedl! Maybe not spiders though.

  • Once you have received your online gallery, all you need to do is choose the Christmas card template that you like best and let know which photos you’d like on it and we will do the rest!

    We will endeavour to have it ready for you as quickly as possible after you advise us of your selections.

    Once you have received it you are welcome to print it yourself or share it through social media as you please.

  • These sessions include up to 3 dogs from the same household.

    If your friend would like images they are very welcome to book a session too.

    If you have both booked a session each and would like an image of your dogs together we can definitely do that. Just book your sessions one after the other where possible.

  • We are fully insured to cover any accidental breakages, but if your dog is feeling extra energetic (zoom zoom) on the day we might keep a lead on them just to be safe.

  • Yes! If you’d like to pay for your session or purchase anything extra using Afterpay or ZipPay, please contact us and we will arrange your booking/payment manually.

  • Your photos will be ready within 7 days - in time for Christmas :)

    With hundreds of photos to edit, we will be working as quickly as possible to have your photos ready as soon as physically possible.

  • Once they are ready, we will upload them to a secure private online gallery and email you a link to view them.

    Your gallery will be active for 72 hours to choose your images/place your order.

    When viewing your online gallery you will see a watermark across each photo. Any images purchased/dowloaded will not have this mark.
